Dr. med. Gaby Fromberg

Born 1959, studied in Cambridge and Cologne, completing state examinations in 1984. After training in surgery from 1985 to 1992 in Cambridge (England) and Ravensburg, she passed the specialist examination in surgery in 1992.

Straight after this, she specialised in the Department of Plastic, Hand and Reconstructive Surgery at the Murnau Clinic and gained an additional specialist title in plastic surgery in 1994. She has been a Senior Consultant surgeon since 1994, initially at the St Agatha Hospital in Cologne with Dr S Eren. In 1996 she went to Dr M Eisemann-Klein at the Caritas’ St Josef Hospital in Regensburg and then in 1997 she returned to Murnau to work as Chief Consultant Surgeon at the BG Accident Clinic in the Department of Plastic, Hand and Reconstructive Microsurgery. She stayed there till 2005. She gained an additional specialist title in hand surgery in 1997 and passed the examination for the newly introduced additional specialist title in plastic and aesthetic surgery in 2005.

She has been actively involved with Interplast-Germany since 1994 and has had numerous humanitarian deployments in India, Afghanistan, Sri Lanka and Nepal during her annual vacation.
